For anyone who has an Audigy and noticed their audio sounds horrible in Vista, these are the Audigy Vista Drivers released by daniel.k to get your Creative sound card working properly.
If anyone remembers the drama, the reason these drivers exist in the first place is because of Creative's failure to support Vista's new audio stack, and refused to release working drivers for any of their older sound cards with the intent on forcing customers to upgrade to pricey new hardware to have working sound.
In protest, daniel.k reworked original XP drivers so they would work in Vista, and basically did Creative's job for them; finally making working drivers after months of absolutely no support for Vista, only to have Creative turn on him and threaten legal action for doing so.
Creative later on released their own Vista drivers, but they do not include the real EAX console, Mediasource, or other goodies and extras as they usually would. These are still the best drivers for Creative Soundblaster owners who are running Vista who want the full featured driver package.
